Afternoon Tea At Padstow Harbour Hotel
Nothing better than an afternoon in the sunshine, enjoying afternoon tea. We were so kindly invited down to Padstow Harbour Hotel to try out their Jubilee afternoon tea and what a day it was! Padstow Harbour Hotel has been so beautifully restored with a modern and nautical feel inside, with bold patterns and traditional textures. It’s a very commanding position above the harbour, with a rolling garden to enjoy and views from every window.
Padstow Harbour Hotel is owned by the Harbour Hotel group, who have hotels also in Fowey, St Ives and Falmouth throughout Cornwall.
The dining spaces are the perfect mix of cosy and bright; with beautiful features and comfort at the forefront. We were sat in the main dining space by the bar, enjoying panoramic views of the garden and harbour in front.
We were there to try out their Jubilee afternoon tea, which was a special for the occasion. The hotel however has afternoon tea on the menu throughout the year, just keep an eye on their socials for any special changes or theming.
From the mini crab rolls to the deliciously tart lemon curd on the scones, the afternoon tea was at delightful as it looks and we went home extremely content and with a goodie bag of our left overs in hand.
I would highly recommend a stop here for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea and if you’re looking to base yourself in the Padstow area, I am certain the rooms are as magnificent as the rest of the hotel, so you’ll be in for a treat!
