Cute Cornish Cafes; Fat Apples Cafe
It doesn’t get much cuter than Fat Apples Cafe! Tucked away just outside the village of St Keverne on the Lizard peninsula, this lovely cafe is open through the season, for breakfast and lunch with occasionally themed and event evenings to enjoy.
Part of its charm is the fact it’s tucked out of the way, but if you keep an eye out for all their signs, you’ll soon find your way there. They have car parking but not loads, so best to either book your visit or come prepared to wait.
The menu here is hearty, healthy and colourful. Slightly different to the usual cafe grub, you’ll find lots of mixed salads, fresh fish, flavoursome soups and delicious looking baked goods.
They have seating inside and out, I believe the outside seats are taken up first. They have large tables sheltered with umbrellas, deck chairs and little marquees to keep you cosy. Inside is very charming and well prepared with a wood burner to keep you warm.
